2nd week of 2004.
can die sial this week. terok. on friday i broke down during soccer training. so exhausted. mentally and physically. my week took its toll on me there and then and i overstrained myself. couldn't even talk properly. mr kennedy asked someone to walk me half the way home just in case i might collapse on the walk home. and during the soccer training i was unusually heavy footed and very fatigued.
very tiring. thank GOD for the WEEKENDS! and thankfully next week is Chinese New Year. so its basically a two day week. shiok for me.
going ice skating in thursday. man i really needed this week. soccer tournament's starting after next week. that's good. i look forward to competing in the tournament. but at the same time i'm afraid to make a fool out of myself, because that is the first tournament i wil be taking part in. i have never taken part in any tournament. ever. and everyone on the pitch would have at least ONE tournament under their belt. i just hope for the best.
after the tournament, i will be much more relaxed. my schedule will loosen up and i'll have more time for my studies.
this year there will be a Colours of Loyang III. i hope that i can take part. at least drum for ONE event if it is not asking too much. i would love to perform this year. i want to perform in my last year in Loyang Secondary. even if i dont perform for Colours of Loyang III, i just hope to get a memorable gig in school.
my piano diploma repertoire has changed. Beethoven Opus 90 has been switched with Beethoven's MOONLIGHT SONATA all THREE movements. okay, the first two are easy but the third movement is in PRESTO AGITATO. which means 'extremely fast in an agitated manner.' i wonder if i'll be able to pull it off this time. and i have replaced my Brahms Ballade Energico with Ravel's Sonatine due to the time. i didnt have enough pieces to fill up 30 minutes, so i had to play the longer Sonatine instead. the Sonatine and the Moonlight Sonata are very technical and difficul pieces. but at the same time they sound really nice.
all that for this week. see y'all next week.
